tools to combat homophobic bullying is a text designed for teachers, educators, mothers, fathers worried about the impact of homophobic bullying in school and non-formal education. We want to improve the quality of life of boys and girls who show the experience of a specific rejection of all those who break traditional norms that dictate what must be a man or a woman. In short, we show that homophobia affects not only gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, but also those associated with them or simply do not fit into traditional gender roles. In the course of six teaching units designed to be independent of each other, we address the social construction of sexuality to what are some basics about gays, lesbians, transsexuals and bisexuals, then show the changes in our recent history and developments in the rights of couples, marriage between same sex and the vindication of the rights of transgender persons . Finally, it offers a journey through the history of the gay movement in Madrid, the perception of homophobia in this community and some of the resources available, and some voices and experiences in Rivas Vaciamadrid.
